Sammy Smoke is a graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in Business Administration (major: Accounting). Subsequent to college, He has spent three years in public accounting with Donaldson, Holman & West, and a cumulative 18 years in commercial real estate with Crest Realty, Inc. and Brigham Williams Commercial Properties, Inc.
Sammy’s duties in commercial real estate include managing and leasing office buildings, NNN free standing sites and retail shopping centers, tracking development budgets, closely supervising the financial progress of various commercial real estate development ventures, and supervising monthly collections, payables and related debt service for over two dozen commercial properties. While primarily working in commercial property management, He concurrently maintains close landlord and tenant relations including oversight of leasing matters and all lease renewals within the portfolio of commercial properties managed.
Sammy currently serves as Controller and CFO for Brigham Williams Commercial Properties, Inc. where he oversees systematic accounting and analysis of multiple commercial properties (balance sheets, operating statements and cash flow analysis) and completes annual tax returns for various Corporations, S-corporations, and LLC’s.
